Mr Peter Robinson-Vernon

Counselor

I have over Five years’ experience as a counsellor, I have specialised in bereavement, anger management, children's issues and men's issues

About Me

I have over five years of experience supporting people through significant life challenges. I specialise in helping individuals navigate bereavement and manage anger, while also providing a safe space for children to explore their emotions. For men, I offer tailored support to address specific concerns often unique to them. We can work together to understand your experiences and develop practical ways to move forward.

Approach

When grief, anger or behaviour concerns are present, I listen for patterns in daily life and tailor short, practical changes to test between sessions. I work with individuals, families and young people in Newcastle and online, using clear, plain English to keep things accessible. Sessions mix calm reflection, simple behavioural experiments, brief coaching and, with children, playful assessments that help parents and youngsters name feelings and try new responses. This style suits those who want straightforward, collaborative steps to regain steadiness.
