Penny Orr

Licensed Professional Counselor

Hello! I love to connect with people and specialize in working with transgender folk, young adults and adolescents struggling with identity, depression, anxiety and more. I also specialize in working with women hitting that midlife crisis and wanting to find their more authentic selves.

About Me

I love to connect with people, helping them find their way forward. I specialise in supporting transgender folk, young adults, and adolescents. We can address identity concerns, depression, or anxiety together. For women in midlife, I offer a welcoming space to uncover your authentic self. Through our collaboration, we'll gently explore your feelings. My aim is to guide you towards clarity and a lasting sense of who you are.

Approach

Therapy here feels practical and curious, paced to match where you are and open to small experiments that reveal what helps. In my Beaufort office I balance focused talk with moments of play or creative prompts, and I encourage brief between-session practices to test new ways of being. I listen for the threads that matter and tailor steady, collaborative steps rather than rushing answers. Folks navigating identity questions, adolescent shifts, or midlife re-evaluations tend to find this approach grounding and clarifying.
