Dr Paul Attinello

Jungian Analyst

I am a Jungian analyst in private practice near Newcastle upon Tyne. I'm certified by the Jung-Institut in Zurich, and formerly taught music and philosophy in universities; I've worked online but prefer live. I'm particularly focused on individuation, creativity, and aging and illness.

About Me

I offer Jungian analysis to individuals and groups near Newcastle upon Tyne. My warm, dedicated space supports profound self-exploration. This approach helps you engage with your inner world and uncover unconscious patterns. You can find deeper meaning in your experiences. This work is ideal if you seek significant personal growth. I create a supportive environment for your unique, transformative journey.

Approach

Conversations move at a considered pace, often settling into images, dreams or fragments of music that reveal direction we can follow together. In my Newcastle room, and sometimes online in English or German, sessions blend attentive listening with evocative prompts, short reflective tasks between meetings, and occasional group work to test new ways of being. I pay particular attention to transitions of later life, creative blocks and losses, tracking shifts in tone and metaphor as markers of change. This way suits adults seeking deep, sustained self-understanding.
