Mrs Patti Barnett

Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

I am a mature therapist with a wealth of life experience as well as a wealth of professional experience as a psychologist. My background is psychodynamic but I work in an integrated manner that is geared to the needs of the individual client. I work online or in person, short- or long-term.

About Me

Drawing on extensive professional and life experience, I offer a mature, understanding space to explore your concerns. My psychodynamic background informs an integrated approach, uniquely shaped to your individual needs. We can work together to make sense of challenges, moving at your own pace. This tailored method is ideal if you value a flexible process that truly focuses on you, available online or in person.

Approach

My work involves understanding the historical background of my client so that patterns can be identified and triggers addressed. Therapy is a collaborative process with clear objectives. We would look at ways to improve communication, manage emotion and stress, and improve relationships. I have experience with loss and bereavement.
