Miss Olivia Martens

Clinical Psychologist

I’m passionate about helping expats navigate the tough stuff — homesickness, loneliness, big life changes. I create a safe space where you can tap into your strengths, find your truest self, and build a life that feels fulfilling.

About Me

As a South African expat, I understand finding your place and voice in new environments. I offer a safe, inclusive space where every client feels valued. Through person-centred care and open dialogue, I guide you to tap into your unique strengths. We will embrace your core values together. This helps build a more authentic, fulfilling life, especially when navigating cultural shifts. We'll explore what truly matters to you.

Approach

When we work together, you'll notice a gentle blend of curiosity and practical focus that helps untangle homesickness, culture shock and quiet anxieties. Sessions in English, available in Den Haag or online, move at your pace—brief check-ins, deeper reflection, and small, actionable tasks between meetings to test what feels right. I use reflective listening, values-focused questions and tiny experiments to shift patterns tied to relocation stress, burnout or emerging identity. This way of working tends to suit adults navigating cultural change, transitions or questions about belonging.
