Mr Ntokozo Gqweta

Clinical Psychologist

An intuitive and theory grounded therapist that works with Adults, Adolescents and Childr. My special interest is in trauma and trauma work.

About Me

I offer a calm, collaborative space for adults, adolescents, and children navigating the complexities of trauma. My approach blends intuitive understanding with a solid theoretical foundation, helping you explore difficult experiences at your own pace. We can work together to make sense of your unique journey, finding practical ways forward towards healing and resilience. This combination ensures a deeply personal yet informed path to moving forward.

Approach

Rather than leading with technique, I listen for patterns beneath the story and shape each session around what feels most useful in that moment. In my Johannesburg office or via secure online sessions in English, isiXhosa or isiZulu, we use reflective conversation and gentle experiments to track how thoughts, bodies and relationships respond. Sessions combine focused exploration, practical skills between meetings and measured assessment to help untangle trauma’s hold while you build steadier ways of coping. People who value thoughtful, paced work tend to find this collaborative rhythm grounding.
