Novus Mindful Life Institute Family Counseling & Recovery Center is a specialized counseling practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal from the impact of sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, betrayal trauma, and infidelity. Our team provides compassionate, straightforward, and recovery-focused care in a confidential setting. With a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and other specialized clinicians, we understand both the complexity of out-of-control sexual behavior and the profound pain experienced by partners and families. We work with all sides of the system – those struggling with behaviors they cannot manage on their own, and those who have been hurt by secrecy, lies, and broken trust. Grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based principles, we help clients stabilize crises, understand the roots of their patterns, and develop clear boundaries and practical coping tools. We value collaboration and transparency, working at a steady, manageable pace that respects each person’s readiness and safety. From our office in Garden Grove and through secure telehealth across California, we offer counseling, crisis counseling, mediation, and specialized therapy for sex addiction and betrayal trauma.
