Miss Noura Amkieh

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

As a clinical psychologist trained in Gestalt and Islamic psychology, I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, emotional pain, and life’s complexities. I offer a space that supports healing, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful spiritual growth, while helping you feel less stuck and more able to move forward with more awarness and steadiness.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Beirut (online and in person), working with individuals and couples through a range of emotional, spiritual and relational experiences. I support people struggling with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, mood-related struggles, faith-related distress, and I also offer relationship counselling for couples in a confidential, thoughtful setting. My work is grounded in a compassionate, practical, and holistic approach that honours both emotional healing and deeper inner growth. Alongside my practice, I host Nafs and Therapy, a podcast exploring the intersection of mental health, inner life, and Islamic thought. It reflects my commitment to creating spaces, both in and beyond therapy, where people can better understand themselves, feel less stuck, and move toward healing with greater clarity and meaning.

Approach

I guide sessions that weave present-moment awareness with clients' spiritual values, helping unpack sensations, stories, and relational patterns without haste. We build a steady rhythm; brief in-session experiments, reflective feedback, and practical steps you can try between meetings. We pay close attention to the body's signals, emotional flashes, and faith-held meanings to address trauma, body image, anxiety, eating and relationship difficulties.
