Ms Nompumelelo Cynthia Mbongwa

Registered Clinical Psychologists

I am a psychodynamic-trained therapist who believes in a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, tailored to clients' needs. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing a wide range of including emotional, relational, psychiatric and health-related difficulties.

About Me

I offer a flexible, integrative approach, drawing on my psychodynamic training to support individuals and families. I work with children, adolescents, and adults alike. Our sessions are always tailored to your unique emotional, relational, or health-related challenges. We can explore difficulties together, helping you navigate complex feelings and find new ways forward. I aim to create a space where your needs guide our work, fostering understanding and growth.

Approach

Therapy here moves at the pace you need, combining quiet reflection with practical steps as we notice patterns together. Sessions are offered in Roodepoort or online, and I can work in English, Sesotho, siSwati, seTswana, isiXhosa or isiZulu so your language shapes the work. Expect careful listening, gentle exploration of feelings and relationships, targeted assessment when helpful, and collaborative tasks between sessions to build insight and coping. Those wrestling with persistent emotions or tricky relationships often find this way of working helpful.
