Clinical Psychologist

Verified

I am a Clinical Psychologist who works by creating a collaborative therapeutic space grounded in empathy, curiosity and unconditional acceptance. A space where you as my client can safely explore your experiences, inner world, thought patterns and behavioural difficulties without fear of being defined or diminished by them. Throughout the therapeutic process, I center the client's needs and focus on exploring existing inherent strengths and resilience frameworks.

About Me

I approach my work as a deeply values-driven practice where at its core, it reflects a deliberate rejection of shame, both the internalized shame many of us carry and the broader societal narratives that sustain it. My work is guided by the understanding that our emotions and minds are healed when we have an empathetic listener to bear witness to our story; and that when our shame is met with compassion and understanding, rather than silence or judgement, meaningful psychological change is possible.

Approach

I believe that therapy should not simply be geared towards symptom relief, but should go a step further by building internal resources, agency and resilience. I use an integrative approach tailored to the client's unique needs, strengths and circumstances. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic understanding of human experience. Drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, I collaborate with clients to develop meaningful and effective pathways toward psychological change and well-being. I conceptualize psychological difficulties through a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework, acknowledging the complex interconnectedness between these factors that shape an individual's lived experience.
