Nina da Silva, MA

Clinical Psychologist

Verified

Based in Johannesburg, I provide online and in-person treatment for adults and adolescents facing a range of emotional and mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

About Me

Often we find ourselves responding to painful situations in ways that feel familiar but difficult to explain. We may repeat patterns in relationships, struggle with the same feelings, or feel stuck in ways we cannot fully understand. These difficulties becomes easier to navigate when there is room to explore them safely with another person. Therapy offers a professional, non-judgmental relationship that can help make these experiences more understandable and create opportunities for change.

Approach

My approach is primarily psychodynamic, which considers how present difficulties may be connected to patterns, experiences, and relationships that exist both inside and outside of our awareness. I integrate ideas and techniques from other therapeutic approaches where these may support your individual needs.
