Miss Nicole Smith

Educational Psychologist

An Educational Psychologist based in JHB South working with children and adolescents

About Me

I help children and adolescents in JHB South navigate their unique learning and emotional landscapes. Many young people face challenges with learning, friendships, or feeling overwhelmed. I offer a supportive space where we can explore these experiences together, helping them understand their strengths. My approach builds confidence and develops practical strategies for school and home life.

Approach

We begin by gently unpacking the specific challenges a young person brings — school worries, friendship tensions or strong emotions — turning them into small, manageable steps. Sessions take place in my Alberton office, conducted in English, paced to each child with a mix of play, reflective conversation and brief mindfulness exercises. Assessment-led ideas guide practical tasks and parent collaboration between meetings so learning translates to home and classroom. This hands-on, calm approach often suits families seeking clear, achievable progress.
