Nicola Falzon

Registered Psychotherapist

Hi, I'm Nicola, a compassionate warranted psychotherapist based in Malta and working internationally, whose practice is informed by psychosexual therapy and relationship therapy. My practice is a welcoming and safe space for all clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, relationships and experiences without judgment.

About Me

Through a collaborative and reflective approach, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and more intentional ways of relating to themselves and others. While Gestalt psychotherapy forms the foundation of my work, I draw from a range of evidence-informed approaches and training to meet each client’s unique needs. I support individuals, couples, and people in diverse relational structures navigating challenges such as relationship difficulties, attachment, anxiety, trauma, communication, emotional regulation and wellbeing, and issues relating to sexual function, intimacy, and identity. My work is inclusive, relationally focused, and informed by psychosexual and relationship therapy.

Approach

By combining structure, organisation, and attention to detail with authenticity, empathy, and humour, I aim to provide a therapeutic environment that is safe, non-judgemental, reflective, and supportive; one where clients can feel encouraged to grow, explore, and engage fully in their journey toward greater self-understanding and relational wellbeing.

Services

The process of therapy is customised to your goals and needs, and while a main theme may be primarily addressed, you are free to explore as many themes as you like. Gestalt therapy is rooted in an existential and experiential experience whereby past issues are explored in the present context. Gestalt is a holistic approach that supports the development of insight and growth. My training and experience have prepared me to work with adult individuals and couples, as well as people practicing ethical non monogamy or who are polyamorous.
