Ms Neha J. Doctor
Psychotherapist
“I am an trauma-focused relational psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, practicing between the UK and India. Together we'll create a supportive space tailored to your unique needs, gently exploring patterns that hold you back and facilitating you, yourself to authentically create the real & lasting change that you want.”
About Me
Approach
Healing does not happen in isolation. We are born into relationships, we are shaped by our relationships and we heal in relationships too.
I have a relational approach that encompasses a trauma-sensitive framework, which means our therapeutic relationship becomes the crux of our work and is more important than the tools and techniques we use. It will be a safe space where you can express, process and experiment with your emotions, as we explore your inner world at your pace, ensuring you feel supported, empowered and in control of your healing journey at all times.
Building on this secure base, we'll integrate tools and techniques from a variety of modalities that I am qualified in such as psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, CBT, hypnotherapy practices and life coaching exercises. Our process is dynamically tailored to best support your needs, strengths and goals as you engage with more parts of yourself.
Our ultimate goal is to facilitate you to create new, healthier patterns that honour your resilience and empower your innate capacity for growth.
While my qualifications and experience provide the foundation for our work together, the real healing happens within a secure, trusting therapeutic relationship. It's essential that we feel like a good fit for each other. I invite you to start with a 20-minute consultation call where we can explore whether we're well-matched and I can answer any questions about the therapeutic process. From there, we can schedule your initial session.
