Maybe you don’t need to become someone else. Maybe you just need to understand yourself better. I’m here to help you understand your patterns, make sense of what you feel, and find a way forward that feels truly yours.

About Me

Hiii, I’m Nawal, a licensed clinical psychologist and therapist, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a growing interest in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I’m dedicated to helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate emotional challenges, and create meaningful change. My role is not to tell you who you should be. It’s to walk alongside you as you explore what you feel, why you respond the way you do, and what may be keeping you stuck. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and tailored to each person, because I believe therapy is not about changing who you are. It’s about understanding yourself, recognizing patterns that may no longer serve you, and developing healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting. Ultimately, the goal is not to turn you into someone else, but to help you understand yourself better and build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. You don’t have to have all the answers before starting therapy. Sometimes, you simply need a safe space to pause, understand yourself, and begin moving forward.

Approach

Our sessions are a space to talk openly, understand what you’re going through, and make sense of the patterns that may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We’ll work together to identify what you would like to change and find simple, practical steps that feel realistic for you. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. I listen, ask questions, and help you explore different perspectives while giving you tools you can use in your everyday life. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, regularly checking what is helpful and adjusting our work when needed. The goal is not just to understand yourself better, but to turn that understanding into small, meaningful changes that can make a difference in your daily life.
