National Association for People Abused in Childhood - NAPAC

NAPAC offers confidential emotional support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse.

About Us

We are a London-based mental health organisation serving Greater London in the United Kingdom. We provide confidential counseling and short-term therapy to help you manage stress, anxiety and relationship problems.

Approach

We hold attention to safety and choice, shaping each session so your pace and priorities guide the work. In London, with sessions conducted in English, we offer a predictable frame—short check-ins, focused listening, gentle pacing—and practical ways to notice triggers and build coping between meetings. Sessions are collaborative: you name what matters, we help map patterns and try small, manageable experiments to shift them. Many people who’ve experienced childhood harm find this steady, choice-led way of working helpful.

Basic Information

Services

NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) offers support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect.

We offer confidential supportive listening on calls of up to 30 minutes. Calls are free from all UK mobiles networks and landlines and calls won't show up on your bill. Our support line service is run by experienced staff and trained volunteers.

Our primary goal is to encourage and empower survivors to take control of their healing and recovery. We do this by offering empathy, validation, normalisation, understanding and care.

We can also offer information for those who have questions about the impact of abuse, common coping mechanisms, and the different ways in which healing and recovery can be achieved over time.
