About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. I help adults manage anxiety, relocation and expat stress, identity struggles, life transitions, and relationship issues through online and individual therapy.

Approach

I am committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard, validated, and supported. I prioritize building a therapeutic relationship based on collaboration, authenticity, acceptance, and trust. Throughout our therapeutic journey, curiosity will guide our exploration, fostering self-discovery, growth, and healing

With a trauma-informed, client-centered, affirmative, and anti-oppressive approach, I integrate various psychotherapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and systems theories. I value your unique experiences, identities, and cultural context, and tailor my approach to best support your needs, goals, and strengths.

Central to my approach is recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection. In our sessions, we will explore the mind-body connection and work towards deepening awareness and insight into your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations. Through compassionate reflection, we will identify and address beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back, process emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies, leading to a more empowered sense of self.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and finding a therapist that aligns with your values, needs, and goals is an essential part of that journey. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to discuss the therapeutic process further and determine if we are mutually a good fit for each other.

Individual Therapy: I currently offer one-on-one therapy sessions for a duration of 50 mins, provided both online and in-person. I strive to provide a safe and confidential space for clients to identify their needs and bring awareness to their thoughts, emotions, experiences and body. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I work with clients towards gaining insight, develop coping strategies, and work towards personal growth and healing. Keeping in mind culture and identities, I tailor the therapy sessions to meet each client's unique needs.

Family Therapy: I currently offer family therapy sessions both online and in-person (including home visits) Each session is for a duration of 50mins. I work with families who are looking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build a supportive home environment. By understanding the dynamics and interactions within the family system, I assist in identifying and addressing underlying issues that may be causing distress or tension.
