Mr Mzwandile (Muzi) Madalane

Clinical Psychologist

A practising clinical psychologist trained and having experience in various psychological modalities and interventions (i.e., various psychotherapeutic techniques and psychological assessments) to attend to various mental disorders.

About Me

As a clinical psychologist, I guide individuals through a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. I draw on training in various psychotherapeutic techniques to help you gain insight. Together, we find practical ways forward. We can use psychological assessments to understand your unique experience, tailoring our approach just for you. My comprehensive support is ideal for those seeking thoughtful, adaptable care for diverse concerns.

Approach

Therapy here is guided by flexible methods and careful measurement, moving between reflective dialogue, targeted skills practice and focused assessment to make progress tangible. I work from Pretoria and offer sessions in English, siSwati, isiXhosa and isiZulu, with online options when needed to fit your life. Sessions are paced to your needs: we set clear goals, use brief evaluations to clarify patterns, try practical strategies between meetings, and regularly review what’s shifting. This way of working suits people facing transitions, attention or mood concerns, relationship strain or loss.
