Psychological Counselor

I offer individual psychological counseling for adults and adolescents, in person in İzmir and online. My work is grounded in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches, with particular attention to relationships, recurring patterns, and difficulties that take shape in a person’s inner and interpersonal life.

About Me

I am a psychological counselor based in Karşıyaka, İzmir, working with adults and adolescents in individual psychological counseling. I graduated from Ege University’s Psychological Counseling and Guidance program and am currently completing my master’s degree in the same field at İzmir Demokrasi University. My clinical work has developed primarily within psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy traditions. I completed training in the Masterson Approach between 2018 and 2020, followed by advanced training with the International Masterson Institute between 2021 and 2024. I continue to develop my work through psychoanalytic training and individual supervision. I work both in Turkish and English, in person in İzmir and online.

Approach

I approach psychological counseling as a space for attending closely to a person’s experience, relationships, and recurring ways of relating to themselves and others. Rather than beginning with predetermined explanations or solutions, the work develops through what emerges in the meetings and through an exploration of patterns that may not initially be easy to recognize or put into words. My theoretical orientation is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic, with the Masterson Approach forming an important part of my clinical background. The pace and direction of the work develop in relation to the individual and the particular questions, difficulties, and experiences they bring.
