Counseling Psychologist

Trauma-informed and queer affirmative counselling psychologist who is currently specializing in perinatal mental health

About Me

I am a Counseling psychologist specialising in perinatal mental health. I accompany individuals through the profound changes of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. My trauma-informed approach means we can gently explore difficult experiences. For queer clients, I offer an affirming space where your identity is fully seen and respected. I help you find clarity and strength during this significant life stage.

Approach

At the pivotal shifts around becoming a parent, I hold a steady, gentle rhythm in sessions that lets difficult moments arrive without being rushed. In Mumbai or online, in English, Hindi/Urdu or Marathi, we create practical, paced conversations—sometimes slow reflection, sometimes focused problem-solving—so insight and coping grow between meetings. I draw on narrative techniques and brief skills work to tend mood, anxiety, loss or relationship strain, and I collaborate with you to try small, manageable changes. This way of working suits people seeking steady, compassionate support through transition.
