Feeling overwhelmed? You’re not alone. Together, we can make sense of what you're going through. I’ll help you gain the skills to navigate life’s inner and outer challenges, saving you time, energy and emotional strain.

About Me

I am a psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling, and Psychotherapy from one of Romania’s leading universities, and over 10 years of experience working with adults in my private practice in Cluj-Napoca and online. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I support people struggling with anxiety disorders (including panic attacks, health anxiety, and OCD), depression, relationship difficulties, sexual concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is practical, structured, and compassionate. Together, we focus on understanding patterns that keep you stuck, developing healthier ways of coping, and building skills that support long-term change not just short-term relief. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and empowering, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and a sense of agency in your life. Alongside my clinical background, I also bring experience from the corporate and organizational world, having worked as a Recruitment Consultant in an international environment in The Netherlands. This has strengthened my ability to support clients facing professional stress, burnout, relocation, or identity shifts related to work and career. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space is central to my work. I value honesty, openness, kindness, and humor, and I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship where you feel understood, respected, and supported, even when exploring difficult or vulnerable topics. If you value both scientific grounding and a warm, human approach, I would be glad to support you in finding your own way forward.

Approach

My approach is eclectic, based on CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) principles. I believe in meeting you where you are, building on your strengths and working together to achieve a more fulfilling life. This could take some time, I will be honest. You cannot change overnight and there is no magic pill. Learning to overcome obstacles successfully, building resilience and healthy habits takes a few good months. And consistency is key. This is the reason I want to make psychological counselling accessible and flexible. Quality counselling shouldn't be out of reach! I offer a community-centered rate of €70 (€90 for couples) to support the diverse expat and Romanian community in Amsterdam.

Basic Information

Services

I provide a supportive space for both individuals and couples, with sessions available in English and Romanian. I believe that mental health support should be accessible, so if you are currently facing financial challenges, please reach out, I offer a sliding scale and am happy to discuss a rate that works for your budget. Choose the setting that feels right for you. You can meet me online, from the comfort of your home, or join me for a walking session in Vondelpark or Rembrandtpark, where movement and fresh air support the process in a natural, grounded way. We can also have classical in-person sessions. To see if we’re a good fit, I invite you to book a free online introductory session.
