Micky Stern

Micky Stern

Private practice offering psychoanalytically orientated psychotherapy to both individual adults and couples.

About Us

We are a mental health practice in Oranjezicht, Western Cape, South Africa. Our clinicians include a licensed Clinical Psychologist. We provide relationship counseling for individuals, couples, and families.

Approach

Working from our Oranjezicht clinic and in English, sessions are conversational yet deliberately exploratory, tracking patterns beneath immediate concerns. We sit with each person or couple at a measured pace, offering attentive listening, gentle interpretation and reflective questions to bring unconscious themes and relational habits into view. Between meetings we invite noticing daily patterns and bringing observations back to therapy for collaborative curiosity and clearer self-understanding. This way of working often suits people seeking thoughtful, sustained change in emotional and relationship life.
