Michelle Williams

Registered Social Worker

Compassionate and experienced Ontario-based therapist working with diverse groups, specializing in BIPOC experiences, individuals, couples, 2SLGBTQIA+, grief, loss and bereavement.

About Me

I offer a compassionate space, especially for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. Here, diverse experiences are truly seen and supported. I help individuals and couples navigate the unique challenges of grief, loss, and bereavement. Expect a collaborative process, tailored to your needs, fostering resilience. We will explore feelings together, finding your own pathways to healing.

Approach

With an emphasis on diverse experiences, I structure each session to meet you where you are emotionally and culturally. In my Collingwood office or online in English, sessions move at a steady, collaborative pace—short-term goals are set together, reflections and gentle tasks may be offered between meetings, and advocacy or practical planning is woven into our conversations when needed. I listen for patterns shaped by culture, relationships and transition, and name small shifts that build coping and connection. This approach often fits people navigating loss, cross-cultural stress, life transitions or relationship strain.
