Mrs Michelle Spendlove

Professional Counselor

Hi, I'm Michelle, and I'm a BACP-registered & NCPS-accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, passionate about helping people who want to help themselves. I tailor my approach depending on each individual, operating my practice with compassion, by viewing you as a person - not a 'patient'. £55 a session.

About Me

I offer a compassionate space where you are truly seen as a unique person, not just a 'patient'. My passion is to guide individuals ready to actively explore their challenges and find practical ways forward. We will tailor each session precisely to your needs. This ensures our work together feels deeply collaborative. If you seek a counsellor who genuinely listens and partners with you, we could be a good match.

Approach

Sessions are practical and reflective, paced to suit you and shaped by what matters most right now. Working from my Liversedge practice or online in English, I combine focused exploration with simple, manageable tasks between appointments so insight turns into change at your own speed. I listen closely, check in about what’s helpful, and adjust our focus week to week to address anxiety, transitions, trauma or relationship patterns. This way of working often suits people ready to engage, try things out, and make steady progress.
