About Me

Michelle offers art psychotherapy as a powerful path for self-expression and personal growth. She specialises in helping clients navigate difficult life situations, especially those impacted by race and trauma. Through creative expression, Michelle guides you to explore the wisdom of your body and dreams. Informed by Jungian and Internal Family Systems, her approach helps you gain clarity. You can connect deeply with your inner world.

Approach

Creative experiments guide sessions, following somatic signals and dream images so what feels stuck can be seen, shaped and touched. I meet with adolescents, individuals and couples in Knysna and online, usually in English, holding a contained, steady pace where safety and cultural context matter. We move between making, quiet body awareness and mapping inner parts, using images and story to externalise pain, mourn losses and renegotiate relational patterns. This way of working often helps those wrestling with grief, trauma or cross-cultural hurts find fresh clarity.
