I offer a supportive, affirming space to explore and understand experiences and feelings, and navigate a way forward that feels right for you. I have particular experience with relationship issues, navigating difficult family dynamics, trauma, and identity exploration (largely LGBTQIA+, ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD).

About Me

I am an Integrative Therapist working with individuals (18+) online and in-person in east London. I offer a supportive, affirming space for you to explore and understand your experiences and feelings, and navigate a way forward that feels right for you. I have particular experience with relationship issues, navigating difficult family and friendship dynamics, trauma, and identity exploration (largely LGBTQIA+, ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD). My practice is client-centred and collaborative, and takes an intersectional, trauma-informed approach. People come to therapy for a range of reasons. You might be struggling in your relationship(s) or having family issues. Perhaps you're feeling ready to work through a traumatic experience. You might be experiencing anxiety around a life transition or change and finding it difficult to cope with, or maybe you want to understand yourself better. As an Integrative Therapist, I draw from a variety of theories and practical techniques depending on what resonates with you. I will always check in with you before trying a certain technique / approach, afterwards to reflect on how it was for you, and regularly over the course of therapy. I also offer group therapy for queer, trans and non binary individuals that provides a space to talk about and reflect on what’s going on for you, to explore how you relate to yourself and others, increase self awareness and gain insight from peers. I am committed to my own personal and professional development and have been in personal therapy at several points in my life, so understand both the benefits and challenges it can bring. I actively understand that different identities and lived experience will shape how we experience the world and I offer an inclusive space where all parts of clients’ identity will be recognised and welcomed.

Approach

Using an affirming, intersectional, collaborative and non-judgemental approach, I will support you to explore and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and their impact. I will help you figure out how to move forward in a way that feels right for you, and leave you with the confidence and ability to make use of inner resources and external tools when therapy ends. I work with people on a variety of issues. Some of the areas I have particular experience in include: - relationships (monogamous and non-monogamous; friends, family, partners and colleagues) - identity exploration (gender, sexuality, race, culture, heritage, neurodivergence, sense of self) - adult and childhood trauma (emotional neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, gaslighting) - life transitions (loss, career change, health diagnoses) I also have experience working with anxiety, grief, family dynamics, coping with stress, self-acceptance and burnout. I welcome enquiries from everyone.and have specific experience working with the queer and trans community and ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD folks. My approach considers the impact of systemic oppression on emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. I trust and value your lived experiences and the understanding you make of it and I will always work in a consent-led, non-pathologising, identity affirming and trauma informed way.
