Life doesn't always come in calm waters. Sometimes, the waves feel heavy, uncertain or overhwelming - and that's when support can make all the difference. In my practice, I aim to ensure that the first step toward support is met with compassion, understanding & thoughtful guidance.

About Me

I am a registered Psychotherapist working with individuals aged 18+ as well as with couples. I hold a deep belief that one of the most important ingredients for successful therapeutic collaboration is authetnicity. I tailor my sessions to the needs and pace of my clients, ensuring that each individual or couple feels supported in their goals. The therapy room is a safe space for all those who walk in and I ensure that this space and the trust that is being granted to me by my clients is given the respect it deserves. Before becoming therapists, we were all once clients, and many of us remain from time to time to ensure that we are also taking care of ourselves. The first step to make an appointment may feel heavy but through the right guidance and support, it can lead to a very rewarding journey within. I support clients with varying issues including self-discovery, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, trauma, burnout among others. I also do my best to support clients through social media connection including the spotify podcast 'Mind Over Chatter by Emoceans Wellbeing' and facebook/instagram pages Emoceans Psychotherapy & Wellbeing. Our aim at Emocenas is to bring back authentic connection and have honest vulnerable conversations. Your say is always welcome!

Approach

I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist with specialised training in couples therapy. My practice is built on the pillars of collaboration, clarity, and authenticity. I believe that therapy is a shared journey of discovery, and I meet every client with a sense of curiosity and deep respect for their unique life story. In our sessions, we won't just look at where you are but we will explore the 'how' and 'why' of your current experience by uderstanding how your history and attachment patterns influence your current outlook on life, communication style and attachment. While we honor the past, we remain focused on your present goals, looking toward desired ways of being you wish to achieve. The Gestalt approach is inherently creative and adaptable allowing me to meet each client exactly where they are in their process and work together from there. I provide a safe, confidential space for both individuals and couples to explore their inner worlds. You can choose the format that best suits your lifestyle: In-Person: Located at Hope Counselling & Psychotherapy Clinic (Mosta or St. Venera). Online: Secure video sessions that prioritise privacy and confidentiality.
