Mercy Tandoh

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and Brainspotting to treat trauma and anxiety symptoms in adults. I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and EMDR Level 1 & 2 trained. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and provide counseling and wellness services to adults in English.

About Me

If past difficult experiences or persistent worries are holding you back, I can help. I guide adults to process trauma and ease anxiety. Using techniques like Brainspotting, we can gently address root causes. This helps you move towards greater calm and resilience. My aim is to create a safe space for you to explore challenges. We find effective ways forward, supporting your wellbeing in English.

Approach

Sessions unfold with focused attunement and gentle pacing, helping you notice where the body holds tension and the thoughts that keep you stuck. I offer in-person work in Shrewsbury and secure online sessions in English to fit relocation, busy schedules, or changing life demands. We alternate somatic noticing with targeted bilateral processing and practical between-session steps, collaborating on pacing and goals so you feel contained and in control. This way of working often helps adults managing transitions, chronic worry, or past wounds who want steady, practical progress.
