About Me
Approach
I am an eclectic therapist and I choose a variety of modalities and approaches based on what will best fit the client. I care deeply about understanding my clients and providing a space that feels warm and welcoming.
I
utilize a variety of modalities including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, art and play therapy (for children and families).
Services
I
have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego and have 20years experience working with children, adolescents, families and individual adults. I have worked across multiple settings including inpatient and outpatient hospitals and clinics, schools and private practice. I have also assisted in teaching human development to medical school students at UCSan Diego.
My expertise lies in treating childhood and environmental trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, childhood issues, parenting, emigration, self-esteem and self-identity.
It is my number one goal to connect with the experience of each of my clients in a non-judgmental way and to help you move through difficulties with skills, understanding and empathy.
