verified by TherapyRoute

I am a CBT-based therapist specializing in migration psychology, expat mental health, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. With a background in clinical health psychology and neuropsychology, I provide evidence-based, structured, and culturally sensitive therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, stress, identity challenges, and life transitions.

About Me

Hello, I’m a Clinical Health Psychology professional currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), with a specialization in neuropsychology. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and completed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training with supervision in 2023. I am accredited by the Turkish Psychological Association and EFPA, and I have been practicing CBT-based psychotherapy since 2023. My primary focus areas include migration psychology, expat adjustment, trauma, anxiety disorders, and identity-related challenges. I have worked extensively with migrants and displaced individuals, particularly those facing post-migration stress, cultural adaptation difficulties, and relocation-related emotional struggles. My professional experience across Türkiye, Northern Ireland, France, and Lithuania enables me to offer culturally informed and multilingual psychological support. In therapy, I combine structured CBT techniques with neuropsychological insights, helping clients understand how stress, trauma, and life transitions impact both emotional and cognitive functioning. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and practical therapeutic space where clients can build resilience, clarity, and sustainable coping strategies.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is primarily based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supported by neuropsychological insight and trauma-informed care. I work in a structured, collaborative, and goal-oriented way, helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and cognitive processes. In our sessions, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, emotional triggers, and behavioral cycles that may be maintaining anxiety, stress, or adjustment difficulties. Together, we develop practical coping strategies tailored to your personal history, cultural background, and current life context. For clients experiencing migration-related stress, identity challenges, or trauma, I integrate culturally sensitive and evidence-based interventions. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and structured therapeutic space where you can build psychological resilience, emotional clarity, and sustainable change.
