I am a Registered Psychologist and CBT and EMDR practitioner with 6 years of experience supporting adults through emotional, psychological, and life-related difficulties. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, empathy, and respect for each person’s individual experiences and needs.

About Me

I understand that speaking to a psychologist can feel uncomfortable at first, especially when you are unsure how to explain what you are feeling. I aim to make therapy feel safe, approachable, and free from judgment. People often describe my way of working as calm, supportive, and practical. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface. I will not pressure you to talk about anything before you feel ready. I work with adults who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in repeating patterns, or disconnected from themselves. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with what feels most important to you.

Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, which means we work together to understand your concerns and decide what may be most helpful. Therapy is not about being told what to do. It is about helping you understand yourself, recognise unhelpful patterns, and develop ways of coping that feel realistic and sustainable. I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed practice, and other evidence-based techniques. I adapt my approach according to your needs, goals, comfort, and pace. Depending on what you are experiencing, our work may involve understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, processing difficult experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, building healthier boundaries, or developing more compassionate ways of relating to yourself.
