Md Rakibul Hasan

Mr Md Rakibul Hasan Mahin, MPhil (Couns Psy), MSc

Counseling Psychologist

In my practice, I help clients make sense of their emotional experiences, heal from unresolved trauma, and build healthier patterns of coping and relating. Using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, and Mindfulness, I work collaboratively to identify the roots of distress and create structured, practical pathways toward relief and resilience. My role is to offer grounded presence, clinical clarity, and a safe therapeutic space where clients can explore difficult emotions, process painful memories, and develop skills that support lasting wellbeing. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, or the impact of earlier experiences, I help them move toward greater emotional balance, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

About Me

For over a decade and across more than 2,800 sessions, I have walked with adults through anxiety, depression, and the echoes of past trauma, guiding them toward emotional balance and resilience. My practice is built on a foundation of cultural sensitivity and proven methods like EMDR, CBT, and Mindfulness, creating a space where your experiences are met with clarity, care, and zero judgment. This work is both clinical and deeply human. Together, we’ll translate insight into meaningful change, gently transforming patterns that no longer serve you. My expertise is also shaped by leading therapeutic projects like "Heal & Thrive" for intergenerational trauma recovery and "Path of Courage" for self-care and resilience building, as well as my role as a U.S. State Department CSP Fellow and my consultancy with organizations like BRAC and BBC Media Action. I believe our pain carries purposeful information. Lasting healing begins when we listen to what it is trying to say. If you are ready to be heard and understood by a therapist who offers deep empathy, grounded presence, and clinical skill, I welcome you to begin your journey here.
