I work with adults who feel that certain patterns keep repeating in their lives, relationships, emotions, or the stories they tell themselves, and who want to understand these experiences rather than simply manage them. Together, in a safe, confidential, and steady psychodynamic space, we'll explore what often goes unspoken, creating room for deeper understanding and gradual, meaningful change.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic practitioner in training, based in Yerevan. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Yerevan State University and have completed over 900 hours of specialised training in psychoanalysis, art therapy, analytical psychology, and cinema therapy. I work psychodynamically with adults and engage in regular clinical supervision and my own personal therapy, as I believe that meaningful therapeutic work begins with a commitment to one's own growth and self-understanding. When we work together, you can expect a calm, thoughtful, and unhurried space where your experiences are explored with curiosity and care. I pay close attention to the way you tell your story, the patterns that emerge, and what may be difficult to put into words. Rather than offering quick fixes, I aim to help you develop deeper insight and understanding in a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong interest in literature, philosophy, and cinema, and I bring the same reflective and attentive listening to every session.

Approach

My approach is psychodynamic and psychoanalytically informed. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore the deeper patterns that may be shaping their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences. Together, we'll look at how early relationships, unconscious conflicts, and recurring patterns may continue to influence your life, creating space for greater understanding and lasting change. Our work unfolds at a thoughtful pace within a safe, consistent, and supportive therapeutic relationship. I pay close attention to what emerges during our sessions, recognising that the ways we relate to others often become visible in therapy as well. When appropriate, I also integrate expressive approaches such as art therapy, cinematherapy, bibliotherapy, and metaphorical associative cards to help explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to express in words. Rather than offering advice, my aim is to help you develop your own insight, allowing meaningful change to grow from understanding rather than instruction.
