Mrs Mapule Ratshefola

Counseling Psychologist

I work with individuals, adolescents and couples as certified Imago therapist who has a particular interest in helping relationships to heal

About Me

When relationships feel strained, I offer a supportive space for individuals, adolescents, and couples to reconnect. As a certified Imago therapist, I specialise in helping you understand communication dynamics and foster profound healing. We can collaboratively explore your unique patterns, building bridges to deeper understanding and connection. My aim is to help you find new ways to relate, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth.

Approach

I set short, focused experiments in how you speak and listen so tension becomes information rather than blame. Sessions in Sandton or online move between gentle, time-limited dialogues and practical reflections to try between meetings; I often invite each person to notice one moment and bring it back. Using an Imago-informed frame, I slow interactions, name triggers and invite curiosity about underlying longings. This approach suits adults, couples and families ready to practise new ways of relating and repair.
