Mrs Mandie Joy Sinclair

Counseling Psychologist

I provide counselling to children, adolescents and adults presenting with anger issues, anxiety, depression, marriage and family conflicts, PTSD as well as persons who are victims of gender based violence.

About Me

I help children, adolescents, and adults find their way through emotional challenges. If you're grappling with anger, anxiety, depression, or navigating complex family conflicts, I offer a calm, supportive space. I also specialise in supporting those recovering from PTSD and gender-based violence. We work together to understand your experiences, fostering resilience and developing practical strategies. My aim is for you to feel heard and empowered to move forward.

Approach

When someone arrives weighed down by anger, anxiety or family conflict, I help turn distress into steady, manageable steps so progress feels real. I work with clients in Caroni and Chaguanas and online in English, keeping sessions structured, predictable and compassionate. We alternate practical skill practice, age‑appropriate exploration of difficult memories and collaborative family problem‑solving, with brief between‑session check‑ins when helpful. This pace tends to suit people who want clear tools and steady support while they rebuild safety and resilience.
