Mahika

Mahika Saxena, MA

Counseling Psychologist

I support individuals in making sense of their inner world, navigating life's challenges, and reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels authentic and empowering. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and affirming, so you can explore your experiences without judgment or pressure.

About Me

I believe therapy is a space where you can uncover your deepest vulnerabilities and be held safely. It is a space where individuals feel seen, heard, held, and understood. It has the potential to be deeply transformational. My approach to therapy is collaborative, paced and held with intention and grounded-ness. I strive to create a space where clients feel they can unravel, build clarity, navigate challenges, and make meaningful changes rooted in their own insight and autonomy. I deeply respect each client’s journey and hold their truth and realities with humaneness, stillness, empathy & curiosity.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, with a deep respect for each client’s autonomy within the therapeutic space. I work in a way that is flexible, responsive, and feedback-oriented. I practice from an intersectional, trauma-informed & non-pathologizing lens. My work is queer, trans as well as neurodivergent-affirming. At the core of my practice is the intention to make clients feel understood and supported above all else.
