About Me

I’m a Counselling Psychologist with over four years of experience working in both urban and rural settings. I know starting therapy can feel difficult and takes courage but with me therapy is less about venting and following ‘advice’ and more about reconnecting with your own strengths and values and feeling empowered from within.

Approach

Often, what we struggle with didn’t appear out of nowhere. It was shaped by our experiences, our relationships, our culture, and the environments we had to adapt to. In therapy, I bring a lot of curiosity, listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and making sense of what you’ve been dealing with. I don’t see you as the problem. So, rather than reducing you to labels or diagnoses, we look at the problem together and understand how it shows up in your life. I work with adults from 16 to 60+ My approach is narrative and person-centred, and my work is trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and culturally grounded. That means therapy with me is shaped around your context and lived experience, not a one-size-fits-all framework. I offer meetings in English and Hindi/Urdu and provide flexible online options so therapy can match your rhythm.
