Ms Madeleine Lefeuvre

Counseling Psychologist

As a queer third culture kid, I am specialized in working with expats, third culture kids, migratory grief and the LBGTQIA+ community. Psychologist inspired by humanistic, psychodynamic and somatic therapy who works with PTSD, social anxiety, attachment trauma. Services are offered in English, French and Spanish.

About Me

As a queer third culture kid, I understand the unique challenges of expat life and the LGBTQIA+ community. I specialise in helping you navigate migratory grief, PTSD, social anxiety, and attachment trauma. Using humanistic, psychodynamic, and somatic therapy, we can explore how past experiences echo in your body. This approach creates a welcoming space where all parts of you belong. Find a path to greater ease, offered in English, French, or Spanish.

Approach

Specialising with expats and transnational lives, I pay close attention to how moving between cultures shapes your nervous system and relationships. Sessions in English, French or Spanish—in my Hague office or online—are paced to feel steady: short check-ins, somatic grounding and reflective exploration. We gently track patterns from earlier attachments and moments of overwhelm, and translate body signals into practical skills to try between meetings. People who’ve lived across borders or move outside expected norms often find this way of working clarifying and settling.
