Ms Lucy Johnson

Psychotherapist

A compassionate and open-minded counsellor and psychotherapist with experience working with adults to improve their self-esteem, body image and self-talk.

About Me

When self-esteem feels low, or body image concerns weigh heavily, finding support truly matters. This psychotherapist offers a compassionate, open-minded space for adults to explore. Here, you can gently address negative self-talk and its roots. She helps clients understand their internal dialogue. Together, you can build a kinder, more positive relationship with yourself, cultivating lasting confidence.

Approach

I guide gentle, curious exploration of the self-talk and body-focused thoughts that chip away at self-esteem. Across my Dublin practice and online in English, sessions are calm and collaborative, paced to what feels manageable for you. We notice patterns, try small behaviour experiments, and use short reflective tasks between meetings to track shifts in mood, eating, and self-image. This way of working often helps adults who are ready to question harsh inner stories and develop steadier, kinder self-regard.
