About Me

Horses, often called mirrors of our emotions, offer a unique way to understand yourself and find balance. As a holistic counsellor, I guide individuals to process feelings and rediscover well-being. Our on-the-ground Horse Powered Reading activities, for instance, gently support those navigating reading challenges, ADHD, autism, or trauma. This approach provides a calm, experiential path for anyone seeking emotional clarity and integration.

Approach

Those gentle mirrors guide how I work: sessions are grounded outdoors with horses nearby, paced to a child's curiosity and spoken in English or Afrikaans, and I also offer online follow-ups from Lydenburg when needed. We notice small responses—shifted weight, relaxed hands—and name them together, turning physical cues into simple strategies for reading, attention and sensory balance. Between sessions I send short notes and practical tasks families can try at home. Children and teens who learn by doing often feel most supported here.
