Counseling Psychologist

An experienced therapist and practice owner. We work children adolescents and adults to address past and present trauma from a neurotherapeutic perspective e.g. Eye Movement Therapy and BWRT(R)

About Me

I am a Counseling Psychologist (HPCSA) based in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. I treat adolescents and adults for abuse, grief, chronic illness adjustment, and adoption concerns using EMDR, Brain Working Recursive Therapy, and online therapy. I help you build safety, coping skills, and daily functioning through confidential, goal-focused sessions.

Approach

Therapy unfolds with an emphasis on safety, stepwise processing and practical skills, always paced around your needs and history. In Ballito I offer face-to-face and online sessions in English, creating a steady, contained space whether you join in the room or via screen. We alternate short, focused processing with grounding and skill-building, tracking changes in thoughts, sensations and daily functioning, and I suggest gentle between-session steps when helpful. People navigating loss, abuse, chronic illness adjustment or adoption concerns often find this deliberate, body-and-memory focused way of working helpful.
