I offer counselling, marriage enrichment, pre-marital counselling, spiritual biblical perspective and personal development in a confidential, safe space. I work passionately with individuals and couples; offering in person and online consultations.

Approach

Counselling is never a one-size-fits-all approach, though understanding that we are holistic beings in need of wellness and wholeness, helps me to cater for your spirit, soul and body needs. Our first consultation will usually be a chat about where you are and where you’d like to be. It is so important that you find someone you can connect with and to whom you can speak openly and honestly. We then decide whereto from here, and mutually agree a general plan to get there. My unique counselling and teaching style caters to adolescents and adults, providing a tailored approach to suit their holistic needs. These days ‘adulting’ has become so real to many of us in ways we never imagined. Therefore being able to connect with adults at their various life stages and assist them navigate through their thoughts, emotions and choices with tools and techniques that will help make their life journey better manageable, makes my day in counselling. On the other hand I have found the adolescent phase to be quite inspiring to me, it being a phase that can be challenging as one tries to find who they are (identity) and figure out where one’s going (purpose). I experience so many adolescents to be teachable and inquisitively eager to learn, and this makes me enjoy engaging with them and guiding where I can. Apart from my initial training in the theory and practice of counselling and psychotherapy, I have also completed training as a prayer minister and christian counsellor which allows me to provide a biblical perspective and approach on problems.
