About Me

I’m a psychotherapist in Stellenbosch since 2009. I am a mother to two boys, aged 18 years and 11 years. I am a book and cat lover.

Approach

It is my life’s task and calling to accompany people on their journey to become their best self. I’ve been in private practice in Stellenbosch since 2009. My career as a therapist is inspired by a lived personal experience. I am deeply humbled by the privilege to work with the human condition and to facilitate transformation and restore healthy functioning. I am exceptionally blessed in that I am based and operational in a hospital setting. This gives me exposure to the high-pressure trauma work that I enjoy balancing private practice with.

I have a keen interest and passion for health psychology and trauma therapy in particular. I am part of the Multidisciplinary team of Dr Franz Birkholtz, Orthopaedic Surgeon, who performs stature lengthening, osseo-integration and limb salvage and reconstruction. I also consult in George every second week.
