Ms Leila Azad

Psychotherapist (Registered)

An experienced, holistic, all rounded Art therapist, Play therapist, and clinical psychotherapist working with people with neurodiverse conditions and mental health problems from all age groups and cultural background.

About Me

As a registered psychotherapist, I provide holistic, all-rounded support for individuals across all ages and cultural backgrounds. My practice embraces art, play, and clinical psychotherapy to address neurodiverse conditions and mental health challenges. I guide clients in exploring their unique experiences, perhaps through creative expression or playful exploration. This adaptable approach helps create a safe space where anyone can voice their feelings and build resilience.

Approach

Sessions unfold through creative moments, playful inquiry and reflective talk that help make thoughts and feelings tangible. I work from my Adelaide practice and online, offering therapy in English and Farsi so practical steps fit each person’s life and culture. Sessions are paced to suit sensory and learning needs, mixing short activities, visual responses and quiet conversation, with simple between-session prompts when helpful and clear, structured assessment when needed. This way often suits individuals, children and families seeking steady, gentle progress.
