About Me

Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR-trained therapist, and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with over 30 years of experience. I earned a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University and an MSW from Adelphi University, and later completed my Health Coach Certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to support a more holistic, mind-body approach to healing. I have worked in both private practice and leading treatment centers, including as a Primary Therapist and later co-owner of Lifeskills of South Florida, where she developed specialized programs such as the Eating Wellness track. I led trauma and emotional eating groups across multiple South Florida facilities. I specializes in helping adults facing challenges with: Anxiety Depression Emotional Eating Substance Abuse & Early Recovery LGBTQIA+ Issues Self-Esteem Stress Grief & Loss My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in human connection. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space rooted in empathy, curiosity, and deep respect, where clients feel truly seen and heard as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Using an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual, I help clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. Clients often say they feel instantly at ease with me and appreciate my balance of compassion and honest reflection.
