Psychologist

Verified

I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges through a warm, evidence-based approach that is sensitive to cultural diversity.

About Me

I’m a licensed psychologist based in Costa Rica, offering therapy in both English and Spanish for adults and adolescents seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotional world. Having grown up between Costa Rica and Italy, I bring a strong sensitivity to identity, cultural transitions, belonging, and the complexities of navigating different stages of life. I work especially well with people facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, self-esteem struggles, major life transitions, or periods of emotional uncertainty, supporting them with empathy, clarity, and respect for their individual pace and story.

Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, practical, and collaborative. I see therapy as a space where you can speak openly without judgment, better understand your emotions and patterns, and gradually develop healthier ways of coping, relating, and moving through life. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness-based strategies, and insight-oriented work, always adapting the process to each person’s unique needs, personality, and goals. Some clients come to therapy looking for clarity during a difficult period, while others want support building self-esteem, improving relationships, managing anxiety, or reconnecting with a stronger sense of purpose and balance.
