Laura Chartrand

Therapeutic Counselor

I'm a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor offering online and in-person sessions for individuals and couples. I support clients facing anxiety, life transitions, low self-worth, and relationship challenges with a warm, compassionate approach tailored to your unique needs and goals. I offer free 20-minute consultations.

About Me

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down and explore what truly matters to you. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique experiences. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns, emotions, and inner blocks that may be keeping you from feeling grounded, confident, or at ease. I support you in building self-worth, increasing self-compassion, and finding greater clarity and direction in your life—at a pace that feels right for you. I believe we are wired for connection and healing happens through feeling seen, heard, and understood. Therapy with me is not about fixing you, but about helping you reconnect with your inner resources and move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good fit.

Approach

You’ll notice a steady, curious pace that balances gentle challenge with practical steps. We meet in person in Victoria or online in English, and I keep sessions focused and collaborative. We often use short mindfulness practices, structured reflection and small experiments between sessions to reduce anxiety, rebuild confidence and shift relationship patterns. This way suits adults and couples seeking steady, practical support through life transitions and relationship strain.
