Lara Hassoun, MA

Clinical Psychologist

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specialized in ACT; with a clinical training from the American University of Beirut Medical Center. My work focuses on helping individuals create a rich and meaningful life guided by their personal values.

About Me

I support individuals in creating the life they want to live. My approach centers on helping you develop the psychological flexibility needed to navigate challenges. In our sessions, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space. Here, we explore together practical ways to integrate new skills and techniques into your daily life.

Approach

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that supports people in navigating emotional challenges with openness, curiosity, and self-compassion. ACT focuses on learning to accept what is outside our control, unhook from unhelpful thought patterns, and commit to actions aligned with what truly matters. I work collaboratively with clients to help them build psychological flexibility and move toward a more meaningful and values-driven life.
