I work best with adults whose anxiety has taken over in concrete ways: panic attacks, relentless overthinking, a perfectionism that's started to extract a real cost. I also work with people navigating the subtler disorientation of mid-life, when the life you built no longer fits quite right, and with people who are ready for something that goes deeper than coping.

About Me

I'm a RP (Qualifying) working with adults in Ontario, and I came to this work after time in the corporate world. That background shapes how I work: I'm direct, I take your situation seriously, and I don't provide in vague reassurances. At the same time, I'm genuinely curious about the person in front of me, not just the problem they've brought in. My approach is integrative, which in practice means I draw on whatever is most useful for you. For anxiety and panic, that often involves structured, evidence-based work to help you build a different relationship with anxiety. For people navigating bigger questions about identity, direction, or what comes next, the work tends to be more exploratory and relational. In both cases, I'm interested in understanding not just what's happening, but why it keeps happening.

Approach

Therapy with me tends to be collaborative and honest. I'll share my observations, ask questions that push a little, and tell you what I'm noticing, because I think that kind of directness is more respectful than staying carefully neutral. I'm also genuinely interested in what's working for you and what isn't, and I'll adjust as we go. For anxiety and panic, I use ERP, ACT and CBT, approaches grounded in current research. This work is active and sometimes uncomfortable, but it produces real change rather than just better management. The goal is to help you build a different relationship with anxiety, not just better strategies for avoiding it. For clients doing more exploratory work, the process looks different. We slow down, pay attention to patterns, and make room for the kind of reflection that's hard to do alone. I draw on humanistic, relational, and psychodynamic ideas, meaning I'm interested in how your history, your relationships, and your sense of self are all part of what's brought you here. Across both, I take the therapeutic relationship seriously. How we work together matters as much as what we work on.

Basic Information

Services

Anxiety and Panic I work with adults whose anxiety has become disruptive: panic attacks, constant worry, overthinking, or a perfectionism that's stopped being useful. Using exposure-based approaches, we work to change your relationship with fear rather than just manage it. Life Transitions and Mid-Life I work with adults navigating the kind of change that doesn't have a clear roadmap: career shifts, relationship changes, questions about identity and direction, or the sense that a life that used to fit no longer does. This work tends to be more exploratory and relational, focused on understanding what you want and what's in the way. Stress and Burnout I work with people who have been running at capacity for too long and are starting to feel the cost. This often involves slowing down enough to understand what's driving the pattern, not just finding ways to push through it.
