Miss Kirsten Penderis

Registered Counselor

I assist my clients to deal with their issues and develop skills to identify negative thought patterns and change these to live a fulfilling life.

About Me

I help clients explore the issues that feel overwhelming. We'll work together to identify any unhelpful thought patterns that might be keeping you stuck. In our practical sessions, you'll develop new skills to challenge and change these thoughts. This allows you to respond differently to life's challenges. My approach is for anyone ready to move beyond old ways of thinking and create a more fulfilling life.

Approach

To help you change how you respond to patterns that keep you stuck, I blend clear listening with practical steps that feel manageable. Sessions in Stellenbosch or online are conducted in English, paced to suit adolescents, adults, couples and older clients, and often include brief between-session reflections. We map recurring thoughts, try short exercises in session, and set small experiments to practice different responses to stress, relationship strain and past hurt. People facing transitions, burnout or complex family issues often find this steady, hands-on way helpful.
